Is the scholarship really 100% free?

Yes. The Free School Foundation covers your tuition for the full ND or HND programme at Citi Polytechnic. You will never be asked to pay a fee to apply.

Do I have to travel to Abuja to study?

No. The programme runs through Citi Polytechnic's Open Distance e-Learning Programme, so you study from Aba with support from the Foundation office.

Who can apply?

Anyone with the required O'Level results can apply for ND. For HND you need a completed ND in a related programme from a recognised institution.

What documents do I need to start?

Just your O'Level result (or ND certificate/statement of result for HND applicants) and a passport photograph. Extra documents are only requested if you are shortlisted.

Yes. The distance learning format is built for people who work. Many of our applicants study alongside a job or business.
